I know you're busy following the election, but do you have any more info on this upcoming 10/12/08 event? Is there a website? Will they plan this type of photo shoot for any other cities? How many musicians do you think will show up?

I KNOW THEY'RE PLANNING A BOOK TO RAISE MONEY FOR JAZZ ED. TWO OTHER CITIES HAVE DONE THIS, INDIANAPOLIS AND PORTLAND. IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE TO MEET A LOT OF PEOPLE. THERE WAS A SHOT OF BUDDY COLLETTE EMBRACING LES MCCANN, BOTH IN WHEELCHAIRS. LOT OF GREAT MUSICIANS SHOWED UP. I GOT TO PLAY WITH KENNY BURRELL, GILDA MAHONES, DR. BOBBY RODERIIQUEZ,CLORA BRYANT. MANY LADY SAXOPHONE PLAYERS, INCLUDING THE GREAT ANN PATTERSON. THE GREAT JUSTO ALMARIO PLAYED.
