Event Calendar and KCSM-FM 91.1 Jazz Datebook RSS Feed

I am looking for solutions to improve the Events Calendar. I think I need programming help. Any computer engineers/programmers out there who can help? Or perhaps you know someone who can help?

In the meantime, I will look for pre-existing event calendar open source code that would be easy (i.e. quick and easy for me = not a gearhead!) to implement.

Wouldn't these be great nice-to-haves?
-Venues pull-down list so listers don't have to enter address, phone no., website address each time
-Efficient way to enter repeating events, such as weekly gigs and jam sessions
-Automatic reminders about gigs to invitees one week prior and the day before

Please let me know if there are other improvements you would like to see. I created and am maintaining this network as a volunteer in my spare time so please be patient.

In the meantime, I added the RSS feed from KCSM-FM 91.1's Jazz Datebook. I think I will just leave it on the main page for us. If you know of any other RSS Feeds you would like added, let me know.
